David Li, PhD, MBA, MA is founder, principal of Sprouts International, LLC (a healthcare consulting firm) providing business development planning and financial strategies to healthcare institutions, physician groups and government agencies. He has been an adjunct faculty member at the School of Health and Human Services at UNH. Previously he was senior vice president for the Elliot Health System and Elliot Hospital for 15 years. Prior to his tenure at Elliot, David held a variety of senior administrative and management positions within the Department of Health and Human Services of New Hampshire. He received his Ph.D. from Brandeis University in Health Policy and Management, his MA in Social Policy from the Heller Graduate School, Brandeis University, and his MBA with a concentration in Health Care Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Southern New Hampshire University. He was also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He was a board member of the University of New Hampshire, Manchester, Advisory Board, and board member of St. John International University in Italy. He has been an international health care consultant and keynote speaker to China’s government, hospitals, healthcare association, hospital accreditation agency (Joint Commission International) and academic and research institutions since 2003.
