To provide integrated, family-centered care designed specifically to serve children and families facing the unique challenges presented by homelessness and co-occurring mental illness/substance abuse disorders by reducing common barriers to care faced by vulnerable families.

To improve access to mental health services for children and families within a pediatric practice serving extremely vulnerable families and youth by planning for Behavioral Health integration and improving facilitated referrals to community mental health partners.

To ensure delinquent and CHINS youth receive the mental health, educational and other services they need by providing civil legal services in collaboration with courts, juvenile services officers, public defenders, mental health providers, schools and other key organizations serving children and youth.

To transform the children's mental health system by leveraging federal funds available for this purpose.

To expand and improve comprehensive and quality mental health services to children, youth and their families by strengthening linkages, broadening access, enhancing cooperation, and developing collaboration among schools, mental health, DCYF, DJJS, and other child serving agencies.

To create a more comprehensive and coordinated mental health and domestic abuse system of care for children in the Seacoast region by developing the capacity and piloting a nationally recognized intervention for children effected by and exposed to domestic violence.

To strategically position the issue of behavioral health within the attention of the public and policy makers by convening five public forums strategically located around the state in the coming months.

To integrate services and funding for children with mental health needs who are at risk for, or are placed in, residential care by developing a strategic plan for the NH Department of Health and Human Services in partnership with community stakeholders.

To create a coordinated system of care for children with mental illness in New Hampshire by securing federal funding available through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration

To integrate better evaluation and more effective treatment for high risk young children into the NH family court and child welfare systems by planning to pilot a research based intervention within two family courts.

To educate and enhance the skills of health care and mental health professionals, and school personnel to work with individuals who suffer from eating disorders and body image issues by convening a conference.

To strengthen Child Advocacy Centers' capacity in every NH county to enhance linkages to evidence-based mental health services for child abuse victims by engaging key community stakeholders in a collaborative planning process and identifying best practices for helping parents access evidenced-based services.
