Alison earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Modern Languages from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. She began her legal career as a prosecutor with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and subsequently served as a public defender in Eugene, Oregon, where she participated in one of the state’s earliest Drug Court programs over three decades ago.
Allison currently serves as the Treatment Court Coordinator and Project Director for Cheshire County. In addition, she is the Director of the county’s Behavioral Health Court program, which include the Alternative Sentencing Program and the Mental Health Court.
Alison has served on numerous boards and committees, including the City of Keene Congregate Living Board, the Keene Serenity Center, Stonewall Farm, the Keene Agricultural Commission, and the Monadnock United Way Allocations Committee. She also led a community initiative that successfully raised $90,000 to construct a playground at Symonds Elementary School.
Alison resides in Keene, New Hampshire, with her husband. They have three adult children.
