Krista is a disability justice advocate working to identify and address structural barriers limiting full participation of individuals with disabilities in daily and community living in NH. Creating change through policy work and informing legislators is a priority for Krista. She is a member of the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities (NHCDD) Policy Committee, the Rare Disease Advisory Council, and a past member of the National Organization for Rare Disorders Policy Steering Committee.

In her work to address the direct care workforce crisis, she served as Co-Facilitator for the NH Bureau of Developmental Services (NHBDS) Workforce Development Subcommittee as a Family Advocate, and currently serves as Chair of the workforce workgroup for the NHCDD. Krista also currently serves as a Family Representative working to inform the NHBDS as they redesign the developmental disabilities waiver and service delivery system.

Krista has been an occupational therapist for more than three decades, providing services for individuals from birth to death in a variety of settings and organizations. She is a graduate of Policy Partners, the UNH Leadership Series through the Institute on Disability and the NH-ME Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program (LEND).
