The National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Health and Health Care (US Dept. of Health & Human Services, Office of Minority Health) are a blueprint for individuals and healthcare organizations to advance health equity, improve quality, and help eliminate healthcare disparities. The Discussion Guides can be used by audiences viewing We Are Here videos to advance culturally and linguistically appropriate services.

A disconnect exists between the healthcare workforce needs in New Hampshire and the limited availability of placement sites for health professional students. The NH Area Health Education Center Network assessed opportunities and barriers related to clinical placement, in collaboration with academic training programs, students, and healthcare organizations. This report synthesizes the data collected and creates an action plan.

Landscape Analysis and Mapping Report

To inform planning for a healthcare consumer advocate program (HCAP) in New Hampshire, Hope Worden Kenefick, MSW, PhD, conducted interviews with leaders in other consumer advocate programs across the country, including two programs in New Hampshire. This reports summarizes her findings.

In September 2021, the Endowment for Health Board of Directors launched a year-long strategic planning process to reflect on our past, contend with the present, and resource a future that provides good health and realized potential for all. Leveraging robust Board member dialogue, extensive committee engagement, and insights from the Endowment’s Advisory Council, we forged the strategy and roadmap for the next five years.

In June 2022, the bipartisan ACES Treatment and Prevention Act was signed into law. Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) is specifically named in the Act as an evidence-based practice that is effective for supporting children and their caregiver(s) dealing with early trauma. The act identifies inadequate reimbursement rates as a barrier to implementation. The NH Legislative Briefing explores ‘real-life’ costs associated with the provision of CPP in NH and is intended to provide directional guidance to implement the Act.

New Hampshire AHEC, in association with the University of New Hampshire, presents an in depth look at "Preceptor Models that Work" and how they can be utilized in a clinical setting to better educate future healthcare providers.

The Assessment seeks to understand how other states administer and incentivize their infant and early childhood mental health endorsement or credential. The researcher conducted 15 key informant interviews in 11 states and analyzed the data using thematic analysis.
