To revise the guide, Traumatic Brain Injury in Children and Teens-A National Guide for Families as a printed, CD and web based document.

To identify the current health needs of NH's youth, develop & disseminate a set of comprehensive recommendations & action strategies and assist state & community agencies & coalitions in building capacity for plan implementation.

To plan and fund a statewide school-based dental sealant program for New Hampshires high risk children.

To address the critical need for improving access to treatment for adolescents and young adults with both mental illness and substance abuse disorder through the development of a coalition of government and private organizations to serve on an advisory council and to lead a summit to determine priorities and strategies to address this issue.

To develop a profile of existing workforce initiatives in NH, convene a group to refine and make recommendations relative to this profile, and maintain an ongoing web presence regarding workforce activities in the state.

To collaboratively develop analytic and policy tools to provide the State of New Hamsphire and its constituents a better understanding of the underlying barriers to access to primary health care in NH.

To assess the language service needs in New Hampshire of limited English proficient pateints in the medical setting, existing capacity and quality of interpretation services provided to these patients, the gap between need and capacity, and potential steps to reduce or eliminate this gap. The report will recommend future actions to evaluate and improve these services to meet present and projected needs. It will be disseminated to a wide range of stakeholders.

To establish the new Community Resource Center in Peterborough by building the organizational structures that will ensure its future as a true community serving, sustainable organization with broad and diverse participation.

To recruit and retain medical interpreters to be available as a cost effective support service to New Hampshire health care providers in order to ensure access to all New Hampshire residents especially Limited English Proficient (LEP) population.

To create a community health model in New Hampshire to provide better access to prevention and treatment through the use of evidence-based protocols and interventions.

To implement the New Hampshire Oral Health Plan: A Framework for Action.

To develop a sustainable training program for qualified medical interpreter; to provdie leadership to develop a system that meets the interpretation need of the Limited English Proficient (LEP) population statewide; to train and educate health professionals on cultural competency and use of medical interpreters; to provide outreach and education to LEP health consumers about medical interpretation; to develop a continuing education program for training medical interpreters.
