To more effectively assist those impacted by domestic and sexual violence in Strafford and Rockingham Counties by increasing organizational capacity and efficiency of A Safe Place and Sexual Assault Support Services through a merger.

To assist in strengthening the physical and mental health of immigrant and refugee victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families by providing specialized immigration-related legal services that enable victims to obtain a legal status in the U.S., receive employment authorization, and fully free themselves from abusive relationships.

To expand and strengthen the Connections adult literacy program by incorporating a writing component, developing new web-based resources, integrating instruction in the use of digital media to enhance the literary experience, and presenting companion programs which coordinate with other Council-conducted projects.

To strengthen the field and increase NH’s leadership capacity to advance health equity by providing:
• Collective Impact 101 and training for leaders of the NH Health and Equity Partnership,
• Training in grantmaking with an Equity Lens, and
• Training and technical assistance for an Immigrant Integration Initiative Launch Event for the four funded communities.

To recast the identity and image of the nonprofit sector in NH and mobilize leaders of the sector to effectively carry and deliver the new message by rebranding the sector and taking action to shift public perception of the impact of the nonprofit sector in NH.

To develop a strong field for Immigrant Integration in New Hampshire by convening practitioners for peer-to-peer learning, training, and technical assistance via a Community of Practice.

To decrease the risk of people diagnosed as pre-diabetic from developing Type 2 diabetes by providing a Diabetes Prevention Program.

To strengthen and sustain a statewide collaborative to advance measurement-based quality improvement processes in pediatric primary care settings by 1) creating the training infrastructure needed and 2) securing the resources to sustain it.

To advance the integration and inclusion of immigrants and refugees in New Hampshire through a collaborative planning process to foster a shared vision for the future among newcomers and long-term residents and develop a community-level plan of multi-sector strategies to promote the economic, educational, social, cultural, and spatial integration of newcomers.

To improve the lives of low-income and vulnerable residents of New Hampshire through capacity-building programs, tactics, and
resources to improve the public policy impact of advocates for low-income and vulnerable people.

To advance the integration and inclusion of immigrants and refugees in New Hampshire through a collaborative planning process to foster a shared vision for the future among newcomers and long-term residents and develop a community-level plan of multi-sector strategies to promote the economic, educational, social, cultural, and spatial integration of newcomers.

To improve health outcomes and reduce NH healthcare costs by promoting the integration of physical and behavioral health care.
